Artist Studios | Office Space
Please note: in response to the current Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, viewings and occupancy will be arranged in line with current Scottish Government guidance. Please also let us know if you’re shielding so we can make alternative arrangements. Virtual viewings can be arranged where possible. Physical distancing and safe working measures are in place at all Wasps buildings.
We have several spaces that have become available across our Wasps estate. We currently have available artists' studio spaces in: Perth Creative Exchange; Albion Road, Edinburgh; Meadow Mill Studios, Dundee; Eagle House, Aberdeen; Stromness Studios, Orkney; The Courtyard, Irvine; Inverness Creative Academy; Links Studios, Nairn; and creative/cultural office spaces for creative businesses, charities and social enterprises available in The Briggait, Perth Creative Exchange and South Block. All details below.

Artist Studios
The majority of available artist studios are only advertised internally to our registered waiting list. For all information on eligibility and to apply to our register to receive these adverts, please visit this section of our website.
Perth Creative Exchange
Take a studio space in our beautiful newly refurbished creative hub, the first of it's kind in the area, opened at the end of 2019. We currently have two studios available at Perth Creative Exchange, details of available spaces are as below:
Studio 203 is 581 Sq. Ft. A very large, bright and airy studio with dual aspect to the south and west, suitable for an artist's group, share, or an individual.
Studio 214 is 387.50 Sq. Ft. Another of our large studio spaces. Great natural light, suitable for an artist's group, share or an individual.

Studio 203, Perth Creative Exchange
Albion Road
We have one studio available at the in Edinburgh. Albion Road has 22 studios over two floors and currently provides workspace for 33 artists. Albion Road is not a fully accessible building.
Studio 109 is 429 Sq. ft. A large first floor studio with good natural light. Communal water supply can be found nearby the studio. The space would suit an artist working on a large scale, or a collective or small group of artists looking to share. Available with immediate effect on a fixed-term basis running to 31st July 2021.
Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and the fixed-term nature of the lease, Wasps will accept applications for this studio from art students who have either lost or have limited access to their college studio space.

Meadow Mill Studios, Dundee
We have one studio space available to rent at Meadow Mill Studios, Dundee
Studio 317D - a bay studio which sits within a larger open-plan space making this an affordable studio option for many artists. The room receives excellent natural light, and as a tenant you will have 24 hour access to the studio.
Rent includes all utilities such as heating, lighting and Wi-Fi connectivity. Communal water supply can be found nearly the studio as well as kitchen and tea-prep areas. Meadow Mill also benefits from a gallery and project space available for tenant hire, a lift to all floors and car parking facilities (though limited).
Due to Covid-19 and the lack or limited access students currently have to their university or college studios, Wasps will consider applications from students during the pandemic.

Open plan studio at Meadow Mill, Dundee
Eagle House, Aberdeen
We are delighted to announce a small, self-contained studio is now available to rent at Eagle House Studios at Shore Lane.
Studio 109 - 124 Sq. Ft. (approx.) with natural light. Eagle House also benefits from having a store room with painting rack to provide extra space in the studio. Common water supply available in building. The lease is available with immediate effect on a monthly rolling contract. Tenants benefit from 24 hour access, Wi-Fi connectivity and an all-inclusive rent.

Stromness Studios, Orkney
We have one studio available in our Stromness Studios in Orkney. Officially opened in October 2016, Wasps brought the former Stromness Library back into use providing four studio spaces and a permanent home for Solisquoy Printmakers.
Studio 003 - partitioned studio with natural light, around 130 Sq. Ft.

The Courtyard, Irvine
Wasps Studios are delighted to present a large, mezzanine studio at The Courtyard Studios, Irvine. Wasps currently provide 17 studios housing 15 artists at The Courtyard which has a vibrant creative community and is home to artists with diverse practices. All of the studios have shop-front access and are open to the public all year round.
Studio 110 - a large space at 223 Sq. Ft. (approx.) and is a mezzanine studio. Common water supply is available in the building. Unfortunately this studio is not fully accessible. The lease is available with immediate effect on a monthly rolling contract.

Inverness Creative Academy
Wasps are delighted to present a large, studio space available at Inverness Creative Academy.
Studio 104B - a large studio, 264 Sq. Ft. (approx.) with good natural light. The studio is thoughtfully partitioned offering privacy but please note walls are not full height. Common water supply can be found the building which is well serviced including a gallery space/workshop and tea prep areas for tenant use. Tenants also benefit from 24 hour access, WIFI connectivity and an all-inclusive rent. Lease is available with immediate effect on a monthly rolling contract.
Inverness Creative Academy is a vibrant building and spaces are popular. Whilst the artist studio wing of the building is up and running, the other 'half' of Inverness Creative Academy is still under development. This will see the creation of creative, commercial offices, hot desk facilities as well as an onsite café.

Links Studios, Nairn
We currently have one studio available in our small and lively artists's community by the water in Nairn.
Studio 001 approx. 280 Sq. Ft.. One of our largest studios in the complex, suitable for either a community organisation, individual artist, or artist group.
