FREE Workshops at The Steeple
Head down to The Steeple, Newburgh, on 12th April for a FREE drop-in workshop creating inflatable artwork!
Roos Dijkhuizen has added an extra workshop on 12th April for young and old to help create an art installation. Sew or stitch materials together to then be filled with air to make art!
Roos is a visual artist interested in using print and installation to encompass curious objects that look at jarring natural states and alternating ecosystems. Roos uses various materials and processes to investigate overlaps and scales of existing and disembodied worlds. Her interest on this residency is to explore local perceptions and connectivity to their environment through subjects of sleep, folklore and deep-time breaks.
Roos is hosting inflatable making classes in her temporary studio at the Steeple in Newburgh to collectively create air-filled forms as part of an installation happening later in the year in The Steeple project room.
Encouraging all people and all ages welcome! Under 12's need supervised by an adult.
If planning to attend please RSVP with Roos by emailing roos.marie.dijkhuizen@gmail.com
