Throughout my work I am interested in the aspect of time. Time and the way I evolve, adapt and grow through it. Thus observing myself in the past and also in the present is a source for my projects.
The’’ making by hand’’ is very important to me. As a process I enjoy it and, in a way, for me it holds the concept of creating. It also helps me realize the time passing as something tangible.
I have used materials that change with time such as my hair and skin and now also employ objects of everyday life because of the ambiguous character of their simplicity.
My recent concern on my present surroundings, the way I perceive my new reality and how to explore all hidden possibilities, have led me in creating spaces that introduce the spectator in a new evasive surrounding.
